About Me

My Experience

I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in The District of Columbia and Virginia. 


I have my B.A. in Psychology from Meredith College and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University. I hold a license in the District of Columbia for Professional Counseling. I studied at the Washington School of Psychiatry in the Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy program and am a member of the American Counseling Association. I hold certifications in Somatic Psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, and trauma-informed therapy. 

My Concentration

My work focuses on helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, and major life transitions. My lens blends science, story, and strategy because healing is both art and data.

Counseling is about getting an expert to help guide you through pain, numbness, helplessness, and feelings of dissatisfaction. I am here to help you move towards the person you want to become and the life you want to live.


Ultimately, counseling is what you want it to be. There is no "right" way.


Who I Help

“Something feels off.” If you’ve felt this before, know that you are not alone. Many of my clients come to me with this feeling. 


You’re not broken, you’re built differently. Your nervous system runs deep data. Your emotions are signals, not flaws. Your overthinking is a kind of genius that just needs direction.


I combine evidence-based therapy with the science of energy, emotion, and regulation. Think less “talk about your childhood forever” and more real-time rewiring of the patterns that run your life.


I’m here for the ones who think deeply, feel too much, and sense that there’s more to healing than symptom management. You don’t need to suppress your intensity, we learn learn how to work with it.

Because what we call crazy is often just unintegrated brilliance.


How We Can Work Together

Clinical doesn’t have to mean cold. My sessions are interactive, direct, and rooted in both psychology and physics: the understanding that change is a shift in energy, perception, and connection.

I use an integrated framework of:

  • Psychodynamic + Somatic therapies (to bring the unconscious into the body)
     
  • Attachment + Emotionally Focused models (to repair relational blueprints)
     
  • Trauma-informed and neuroscience-based practices (to rewire regulation and resilience)
     

Every session is an experiment in awareness, designed to help you feel again, think clearly, and live congruently. 


Counseling with me is grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory, and somatic awareness. Together, we work to decode what your system is trying to tell you, why you react, why you numb, why you keep looping the same story and then help build a new pattern that actually fits who you’re becoming.
